With an educational trip to Brussels, from May 30 to June 1, the PMS students completed their studies in Energy: Strategy, Law & Economy. The students had the opportunity to be at the decision-making center of the European institutions on international policy issues, including energy.

On Tuesday, May 30, 2023, a visit was made to the Permanent Representation of Greece to the EU. The students had the pleasure of talking with the ambassador & Deputy Permanent Representative to the EU, Ioannis Gikas, Panos Massaras, Energy Attaché and Ioannis Plemenos. This was followed by a detailed presentation by them regarding the responsibilities of the institution to which they belong and a constructive dialogue at the end, during which the students expressed their questions regarding the current procedures and current issues.

During the three-day educational trip the students of the program visited the European Parliament and the House of European History. At the EP they had the opportunity to talk with MEPs, Mr. Koundouras and Mr. Kokkalis as well as with their associates including MEP Mr. Kymbouropoulos.

The students of the program also visited the UN Regional Information Center. Mr. Dimitris Fatouros, Communication Officer for Greece and Cyprus and Mr. Nicolas Galudec, Deputy Head of UNEP Brussels Office, proceeded with a presentation of the responsibilities, initiatives and actions of the Organization in issues that are part of the Sustainable Development Goals and concern the Environment, Climate change, etc. After the speeches, a round of discussion followed with questions posed by the students to the speakers.
